![]() Are you hosting it yourself on your own pc? :) I tried to add your model, but somehow, your server cannot be reached. Very cool, thanks! I'll add them in the next few days! Do you want me to link a website for this? If so, which one? This also goes for the Sketchup prefab kit, if you don't mind 3rd party format files on your site. I will be very honored to see any work done using my Large Building prefab from any of you If you like my building prefabs and you think they might be a good addition to your download section, you already have my blessings to add them to Coppercube's download page. You can even change the textures or add internal walls to the floor modules using Sketchup's editing tools.Īnd once your done with your new building master piece, save it as a collada model, import it inside Coppercube and then take it from there and do whatever you need to do. Of course, for those of you who download my Large Building Sketchup PreFab or Module kit and assuming you have at least the free version of Sketchup installed on your computer, you could very well just create your own buildings with any amount of floors with any kind of configurations you like. Well, I decided to create and donate a few more smaller Coppercube prefab models of my Large Building. For those of you who have already checked out the WebGL website of it, you might have noticed that unless your computer is powerful in specs, you might have experienced very low frame rates and jerky camera movements trying to navigate it. It seems 10 prefab floors might have been too much for some people. ![]() Now, there are a few things to say and point out:įirst off, that 10 Floor Building Coppercube Prefab I uploaded, well I might have gone a bit overboard on it. Thanks for the nice comments, I appreciate it. Oh my, by the sound of things here so far, it looks like I hit a home run! Wow, that's great! Exactly what I need for my project, thanks! If you like my Sketchup Large Building modules and would like to have them, I put them all in a zip folder which can be downloaded from here. Here is a screen grab picture of the Large Building 10 floors model inside Sketchup: The Extra Floor (this module can be cloned as many times as needed) This 3D model "kit" is made up of 4 single floor modules that when you put them on top of the other one, you can quickly create a multi level building with as many floors as you want. What I actually did, was to make a group of "modules" or prefabs in the form of single floors with a built in section of the central stairwell. I also have available the original Sketchup models that make up the Large Building. Remember, this Coppercube prefab is very big, so please consider on how you might use it in your project. I made this 3D building model using Sketchup, exported it to Collada, imported the Collada model into Coppercube where I did a few texture tweaks and then saved it as a Coppercube prefab model for you all. All ten floors are interconnected by a central stairwell which makes it easy to go to any floor. ![]() All of the floors, the entire building is fully navigable inside by first person camera. This building has 10 identical floors with each floor being one large open space. What I have here is a somewhat large 3D model of a general purpose building. Well, I finally decided to make something and donate it to the Coppercube 3D Models and Prefabs section.
